School Of Solar Energy
The School of Solar Energy (SSE) at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) aims to impart education, training and services; perform cutting-edge research and development; and enable discrete, as well as interdisciplinary technologies;
to accelerate the dployment of renewable energy for a sustainable growth; foster a clean environment to enhance human standards of living; and develop a skilled workforce and empower a young generation of leaders. |
Solar Research & Development Center
The National Solar Mission was framed by the Government of India to promote the use of solar energy for power generation and other application; also promoting the integration of other renewable energy technologies like biomass and wind with solar energy options. The Solar Energy can be tapped via two routes solar thermal and solar photovoltaic.
